TGC stands for Technology, Governance and Citizenship

Started of in December 2007, as a 3-day meeting in Bangalore, India which brought together technologists, social science researchers, activists, e-governance corporate representations and STS faculty.

Often these meetings are informal and day-long.

Often it gets contextualized.

TGC also stands for Tantra Gana Chaturya. (Dec 2009)

Now its happening in Istanbul.
